Innovation and Sustainability

Rooted in the land that has shaped us, we draw inspiration and a sense of responsibility. At Newform, innovation means safeguarding water, respecting the environment, and building real value for future generations.

Our environmental commitment took concrete form as early as 2007, when the historic Vintebbio headquarters obtained ISO 14001 certification for its Environmental Management System.

Since then, every production, technological, and organizational choice has been guided by continuous improvement of environmental performance, regulatory compliance, and the enhancement of people. A shared culture of quality, environmental protection, and workplace safety shapes the company’s growth and its relationships with customers, suppliers, and the community.

Sustainability at the core: our Report

For Newform, sustainability is not just a promise—it is a tangible, measurable, and shared commitment. Our Sustainability Report, prepared according to GRI Standards, outlines strategies, actions, and results across environmental, social, and governance areas. It is the tool through which we show customers, partners, employees, and the wider community how we translate our principles and values into real action.

Every drop counts, every energy matters, every material cares

We design and act with a sustainable mindset that, throughout our history, has inspired the creation of products designed for the environment and sustainability.

The Save Water range of water-saving mixers reduces waste and significantly lowers both water and energy consumption. Collections marked with the Save Water symbol limit flow rate, delivering up to 50% water savings, turning every daily gesture into a concrete contribution to preserving our most precious resource.

Energy Saving is Newform’s integrated system aimed at maximizing energy efficiency while delivering environmental and economic benefits. This technology, embedded in the cartridges of our mixers, provides controlled hot water release according to actual need, avoiding accidental or unnecessary activation of the boiler.

Equally important are the safety and quality of materials. Through the Low Lead process, Newform minimizes the lead content on mixer surfaces in contact with water, protecting users’ health without compromising elegance or functionality.

This focus on materials is complemented by the transition to trivalent chrome, which has transformed our production. While requiring more sophisticated processes, trivalent chrome offers superior resistance to corrosion and chemical agents, while maintaining Newform’s high aesthetic standards. The benefits extend across safety, sustainability, and functionality: a more uniform galvanic coating ensures enhanced oxidation protection, verified through tests in our in-house laboratory.

THE ENERGY WE CREATE, THE FUTURE WE POWER

Over the last few years, Newform has moved towards a production model that is increasingly efficient, resilient, and sustainable, fully aligned with the principles of Transition 5.0.

At the heart of this strategy is our photovoltaic plant, the core of our energy self-production project. Around 60% of the energy generated is consumed on-site to power machinery, lighting, and service systems, while the remaining 40% is fed into the grid, reducing national grid withdrawals and CO₂ emissions.

The plant is integrated with an advanced Power Quality system, which optimizes energy quality, stabilizes voltage and frequency, reduces distortions, and improves overall operational efficiency. This smart energy management lowers maintenance costs, boosts efficiency, and maximizes energy savings.

Developed in collaboration with Joulz, this project goes beyond producing clean energy: it represents a concrete step toward a more sustainable industrial model, combining renewable energy self-production with a broader strategy of process efficiency, natural resource protection, and workplace quality, fully aligned with Newform’s historic values and identity.
